DESCRIPTION:This fall Revolution NJ – New Jersey’s official commemoration committee for America’s 250th – will be hosting 5k races at historic sites around New Jersey. \nFor each race\, runners will receive a shirt and a finisher medal\, and awards will be given to the top three runners in each ten-year age group. \nOur next race will be on September 7th at Princeton Battlefield State Park. More information about the race can be found at REGISTER HERE \n\n\nPlace\nPrinceton Battlefield State Park\n500 Mercer Road\nPrinceton\, NJ US 08540\n\n\n\nDescription\n\n\nRevolutionNJ proudly presents the Revolutionary Race Series. \nJoin us at historic sites across New Jersey for your chance to race through history!\nPrinceton Battlefield 5K\nSunday\, September 7th\n8:30am Race Starts\n(Race Day Registration begins at 7:30am) \nRunners\, history buffs\, and families will come together on September 7\, 2025\, for the Princeton Battlefield 5K. Part of the RevolutionNJ Race Series\, the event begins at 8:30 a.m. and offers a unique way to engage with New Jersey’s Revolutionary War history. \nThe RevolutionNJ Race Series draws inspiration from Jonas Cattell’s legendary run to warn American troops of a British attack at Red Bank Battlefield. This race is one of six in the series\, with additional events planned at Monmouth Battlefield\, Washington-Rochambeau Route\, East Jersey Old Town and Red Bank Battlefield. \nWhether running\, walking\, or cheering from the sidelines\, participants will experience a race that blends fitness\, history\, and community celebration.  The event offers an interactive way to honor the region’s past. \nRevolutionNJ \n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn 2026\, New Jersey\, like much of the U.S.\, will commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States of America through events\, programs\, and ceremonies.
