Race Date & Start time: December 8th, 2024  – 9am

Packet Pickup: Packet  Pick up will take place on race morning, from 7:30am-8:30am just west of the Tennis Courts.

Other Details: All participants will receive a custom finishers item and there will be snacks and water post race.

Course Description: This is a MILD 4 mile loop trail race. The footing on this trail is good and it is not technical. The course will be heavily marked – You will not get lost!

This trail is open to the public. Please be courteous to others who are utilizing the park.

Description

This 4-mile loop trail race is run in quaint Jakes Branch Park in Beachwood, NJ. The park’s trails are mildly technical, wandering through pine trees, packed trails, and some sand. The course is runnable, with fast times achieved in the past.

Whether you’re a seasoned racer or a first-timer, the Christmas in the Pines 4 Miler is a great way to celebrate the holiday season with family and friends!

Course description:

The Christmas in the Pines 4 Miler is a 4-mile loop trail race. The course is well-marked and starts and finishes in the same location .

The course begins downhill all on trail turning onto single track. The trail is mostly single-track, with some wider sections. The terrain is varied, with a mix of pine needles, packed dirt, and some sand.

The course is relatively flat, with only a few minor climbs and descents with very few technical sections.

Awards (in person 4 miler only):

An awards ceremony will take place at 10:15am

Awards will be presented to the top 3 overall male and female and non-binary finishers, as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group.

Age groups: Under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+

**Please note: Awards will not be mailed following the race. You MUST be present to receive your award.**

Transfers, Deferrals and Bib Exchanges

We love our participants and we want you to feel secure when registering for one of our races. With the use of Runsignup.com’s platform we can now offer the following solutions for those who can no longer participate or who would like to change events.

Cutoff date for all transfers or deferrals is one week prior to race day.

EVENT TRANSFER: Change from one event to another within the same race for a $5 transfer fee (if applicable).
DEFERRAL VIA VOUCHER CREDIT: Receive a voucher credit for the amount you paid for registration. Voucher credit expires 365 days from being issued and is good for use on any Beast Coast Productions event. There is a $10 deferral fee.
RACE BIB TRANSFER: You will have the option to transfer your race bib to another runner of your choosing for a $10 transfer fee. This must be done before registration closes.
To edit or transfer your race registration: Log into your RunSignUp account. Go to your “Profile” page, click the “My Registered Races” and view a list of your               registrations separated by race, event,  date  and registrant. Next to each registrant, you will be able to “View/Edit Registration,” which is where you will need                 to go to transfer your registration to another participant.

How do I transfer my Race Entry/Bib to another runner or to another race distance?

Runners can transfer their race to another runner ($10 fee), or to another race event within the same race if applicable ($5 fee). Transferring options can be found by going to your “Profile” page, clicking on “My Registered Races”, and then selecting “Edit/View Registration”. Please login to RunSignUp with the user account you used to register. Deadline to transfer from an in-person event is at registration close.

What are my event options?

  • 4 Miler

What is the course for the CITP Race?

  • The 4 miler utilizes the Chestnut Trail and Tindey Hiking Trail in Jakes Branch County Park. A course map can be found HERE.

Will you offer refunds for registration?

  • Currently, we do not offer refunds for any of our races.

We encourage you to take advantage of the following options for normal race occurrences:

  • PURCHASE RACE INSURANCE THROUGH ALLIANZ: Race day insurance is offered through Allianz and has to be purchased at the time of registration.
    To File a Claim: Use the policy number you received when you completed your insurance purchase to make the claim HERE.

          *Please read through the Allianz policy, as pandemic coverage is not guaranteed. For all questions about your Insurance policy, please contact Allianz.
