Are you a morning runner or late evening runner ?  Running before sunrise has challenges. Did you know the air temperature DOES drop as little as 5 degrees just before the sun rises so you might start feeling a little colder as the sun comes up.  But let’s talk about drivers leaving for work.  Do you run on the side streets ?  With colder damp morning many cars have frost on all windows and not everyone waits for ALL windows to be clear before taking that car out of P and going for D. That frost limits a driver’s ability to see a runner or runners even if you have a headlamp as many runner’s angle the beam down onto the roadway.  The headlamp is great but you should have more, Get a lighted vest, they are lightweight and comfortable to wear giving the runner more lighted options over a headlamp.
