Just want to put this out there. I attended the club general meeting at Road Runner Sports in Shrewsbury this past Thursday and all club members that attend received ticket for a drawing for new running sneakers. Road Runner Sports has been a sponsor for the Ocean Running Club for many years. tTey hold meetings twice a year at their store. I always made sure I went in hopes that I would win the sneakers well, this past Thursday I was greatly touched and didn’t know how to react. One of the club members turned around and said she wanted to give me the winning ticket I was just so touched and this is what our club is all about, character, generous, friendships, kindness, sharing, giving.
