Toms River Police Foundation Jingle Bell Run
Santa hats, festive shirts, and runners decked out in red and green—it’s time for one of the most spirited races of the year! The Toms River Police Foundation Jingle Bell Run brings together runners of all ages for a festive and family-friendly event, with some treating it as their final 5K of the year.
The fun kicks off at 2:45 PM with the Kiddy Dash, a 100-yard dash where excited children race toward the finish line—and Santa Claus himself awaits them at the end!
Next up is the 1-Mile Fun Run at 3:00 PM. This event is perfect for families running together or for those looking to warm up before tackling the 5K.
The main event, the 5K, takes runners down Main Street, offering a scenic view of the river before winding along the golf course and through a neighborhood. Along the way, participants face two challenging hills before making their way back to Main Street.
The atmosphere is a perfect mix of holiday cheer and healthy competition. Spectators cheer as lead runners push their limits, creating an exciting race to the finish under the festive arch.
For the local racing community, the Jingle Bell Run has become a beloved tradition, marking both the holiday season’s start and the end of another great year of running.
