I ran the Philadelpia Marathon in 2021 and thought I was well prepared.  As it turns out, my stomach was
not onboard with my plan to finish under 5 hours. This year I challenged myself to once again train and I
am doing the Celebration Marathon in Florida in January. I am following a 29 week program that started
July 24, 2023 and ends 2 weeks after my marathon. The program is a Jeff Galloway run walk run with my
goal to improve my time over my last marathon.
I have followed the plan from day 1. The improvement and confidence I feel going into this race is
incredible. There are a variety of activities included with cadence runs, acceleration runs, cross training
and long runs (of course).  I would highly recommend this program to anyone that is on the fence about a
good plan and not getting hurt in the process. He is very proactive when he talks during the runs.
I will keep you posted in January after I run this race! By the way, I am also running a Half Marathon in
Florida in March.
