What a day in Belmar! Over 2,700 runners hit the streets, and let me tell you—cool race-day temps had everyone smiling. ORC members were already in action before sunrise, manning volunteer tables as early as 6AM. Coffee in hand, checking in runners, handing out bibs—you name it, we were on it.
But we don’t just work these races—we run them too! After a quick shirt swap, our crew made their way to the start line. Robin Gialanella crushed it, snagging 3rd in the Masters Division, and Sandy Rinderer took home 1st in her age group (way to go, Sandy!). Out on the course we also had Jen and Jeff Goodman, Dave Duff, Rudy Rinderer, Patty Hancock, and Ellen Stefanacci representing ORC.
Of course, no race day would be complete without our fearless president, Harold Walsh, who was there at the crack of dawn and stayed straight through until the final awards were handed out. Talk about commitment!

And let’s give a shoutout to our volunteers—Don Cooper kept things running smoothly, and Christi Aldellizzi pulled double duty, volunteering first and then lacing up to run. That’s dedication.
All in all, Belmar was a big win for ORC—whether we were cheering, volunteering, or racing, we were everywhere. That’s what makes days like this so much fun.
