Rudy and Sandy were in Fort Pierce FL to compete in the last triathlon of 2023.  Sandy’s morning started off with bad with a tear in her Tri bike front tire. She decided to take her old hybrid bike and make the best of it.  After an awesome 1/2 mile swim in the ocean she was completing the first bike loop of this international distance event when she realized the timing chip wasn’t on her ankle! She decided to drop out of the race and took the DNF. Rudy competed in the Duathlon event and and finished 4th in his AG. The course is along the beautiful Fort Pierce Inlet and well attended by local tri clubs.
