This past Sunday, the streets of Ocean Gate were alive with the energy of runners, walkers, families, and friends coming together for the annual Ocean Gate 5K—and what a great day it was!
Thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of our Ocean Running Club volunteers, this event was a huge success. From setup to the finish line, these committed members of our club made it all happen. Their presence and support were felt every step of the way, helping keep the course smooth, the water cold, and the vibes high. It’s events like this that remind us how strong and special our running community truly is.
Participants of all ages crossed the finish line with smiles—and every single one proudly received a finisher medal to mark their accomplishment. The excitement didn’t end there. Age group winners were thrilled to take home custom Ocean Gate 5K towels, a unique and practical prize that had people talking long after the race was over.
From first-time 5K finishers to seasoned runners, everyone left with a sense of accomplishment and community.
