Addicted to workouts ??
How many of us have an addiction to our workouts ? Good read from TrainingPeaks How to Spot and Address Exercise Addiction BY Nick Busca The line between dedication and addiction can be a thin one, especially in endurance sports. Here's what to look out for. We often hear that endurance sports can be addictive, and we may have experienced it ourselves. You train long hours, train hard and race longer and harder events, but for some reason, you want more. Sound familiar? Experts call it the “runner’s high,” and it’s described as a sensation of euphoria caused by endorphins, [...]
USA Beach Running Championships
ORC visors were perfect for today’s beach run in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The 10K started at sunrise with an out and back course entirely on the beach. Low tide made the USA Beach Running Championships exciting for the 400 + runners. But the 20 mph east winds were a challenge! Ron Jon’s, Florida Fresh and Red Bull were major sponsors. We were treated to mimosas, watermelon, hat’s and super cool stingray metals at the finish! Great event
ORC Member Sarah Knight

I was READY. My heart is still shattered with the how the race went. If you know me I’m incredibly competitive with myself and hard on myself. But I wouldn’t be the person I am without these attributes. Weather is an uncontrollable circumstance and unfortunately I was just unprepared for 70+ temperatures in early April. I’ve had a lot of people tell me they would “kill for my [...]
