It was wonderful to see so many Ocean Running Club members and friends at this year’s Thanksgiving Day Fun Run. More than 45 enthusiastic runners gathered with smiles, stories, and plenty of food to share. We kicked things off with our traditional group photo, followed by a heartfelt tribute to our good friend Tom, whose spirit and dedication have shaped this tradition from the very beginning.

From there, everyone set off at their own pace — many completed the classic Island Heights 5K route, while a few ambitious runners stretched their miles all the way to 10. Afterward, we warmed up with hot coffee, hot chocolate, and an impressive spread of treats that kept the celebration going.

We were blessed with a chilly but sunny morning, the perfect backdrop for a tradition built on gratitude, friendship, and community. Thank you to everyone who joined us. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year!
